If you ever wanted a Focus SVT don't by the rusted out piss pounded one that you found for $1400, it'll be a money Pit for sure! I know these cars better than anyone. This one does NOT NEED a clutch or headgasket or timing belt. Perfect for some one who likes working on cars to the extent of Modifying them, not being burdened by maintenance! This one is solid and I've gone through it all. Drive and enjoy!

BTW if you missed out on the SVT and wonder what the heck is that? Fords 'Special Vehicle Team' hired Cosworth Engineering from England (yeah Formula 1 guys) to help with the design and the took the base model from 130 HP to 170 HP with 10.8-1 compression, a long tube header, variable cam timing, a 2 stage intake manifold. They passed it out to the wheels through a Getrag 6 Speed (Sorry Manuals Only) and gave it huge 12" front rotors and 11" rears (actually 300mm and 280mm). If you check out the local Autocross these are the sought after and dominant machine! The flexblade independent rear suspension was so ahead of it's time that it's actually still almost exactly the same on the 2019 models. To enjoy this car it helps to like corners!!
