CLEAN TITLE. Purchased from original owner's son over 4 years ago (who did not maintain it well) - has been used & parked, off & on, preparing it for my son to drive - now he's getting his license & wants something different, typical teenager. Still needs a few things done, but well worth the time & effort for the right owner!
CURRENT CONDITION:
Starts great, drives (NICE power!), heat & AC worked when last used, started/ran/moved 2-3 times a year for the last couple of years
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON: when last checked, only code P0505 for the Idle Air Control Valve - swapped in a used one, same code, so the next solutions we were looking at were to replace IACV with a new one, replace the relay, ground the MAF, and/or replace the main wire harness.
NO DRIVING ISSUES, Great Acceleration, but has a minor IDLING ISSUE due to the P0505 Code *MORE DESCRIPTION OF THIS AT END OF LISTING
Brakes, Calipers, Rotors: rusty, but working, good for now
Suspension & Tires: OK to drive for now but will need attention soon (donut spare in trunk)
NO TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS AT ALL, EVER.

Timing Chain Cover & Guides (chain not removed/moved, all interior components good, re-sealed with RTV)

Fuel Injectors (cleaned, new screens, pintle caps & o-rings)
Since all the parts above have been cleaned and/or replaced, there are very few possibilities left to clear the CEL & pass emissions, if needed. The only symptom while driving is a slight engine stutter once in a while when idling in Park (explains the P0505 code being for the IDLE Air Control Valve), more when brakes applied while in gear (like sitting at a stop light), but does not die. It also creates a little exhaust putt-putt under the car when it stutters, which is most likely a minor exhaust leak that would become even more minor with the stutter gone, but may still need to be addressed in the future, not sure. THIS IDLING SYMPTOM HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR - That means everything listed above that was cleaned and/or replaced did not cause it, nor fix it.
I would consider that full disclosure - Just gotta pass the torch & let someone else cross the finish line. Only asking the Kelley Blue Book value for this car in "Fair" condition because of the Check Engine Light & related idling symptom.
