2004 XLT Ford Escape 180,800. New ignition coils. New spark plugs. New battery. Thought I was fixing up for my sister's husband who recently totaled his car in an accident in Florida. So they could take this without any further bills; they don't feel well enough to drive up here to pick it up. Leaves me with a vehicle with a newer JASPER transmission and brand new windshield ( someone through a bottle on overpass last Halloween- I was very very lucky- THIS vehicle has NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT OF ANY KIND- or had any water damage. This is my favorite vehicle and it's been treated like a family member. I have the title and am the sole owner of this car. Bought if after selling my home in NY and moving to Coral Spring back in 2004. and this car has been in a garage until a few years back. The body looks very good, there are a few dings in the silver paint. This vehicle had a major issue with the transmission in 2005, when 5 years old, so we went to Byer in downtown Asheville and bought a JASPER transmission. Since then, it has been the best car I ever drove. All stickers are in the engine for you to see. I have a paperwork folder for this car, with JASPER ENGINE paperwork, new battery, a 160. dollar top of line advanced auto with LIFETIME warranty, new ignition coils and LIFETIME SPARKPLUGS, from advanced auto, think I paid $8. each. I never missed an oil change and a year back, someone put a hairline scratch in my windshield, so I replaced it, so you have a BRAND NEW windshield, replaced Bosch wipers. Replaced tires 2 years ago. The A/C on this car is not working , but my mechanic says it may be fixed for around $140. This is a VERY good car for travel and picking up tons of stuff. Actually picked up a 82 inch custom countertop from Lowe's and was able to sandwich it from dashboard to back gate. Also this is anXLT model, which has a great rack on top, and also has the 6 engine. A reasonable OFFER may be considered. All this car needs to be almost perfect for any family is air conditioning fix. Only a certified bank Cashier's check. No cash.
