This is my beloved 2016 Hyundai Veloster Rally Edition in custom Persian Blue Dip with a High-Gloss Pearl top coat. It's a pearl color that has a shift from blue to purple and IT'S AWESOME 😍

At this point, you're thinking 1 of 2 things 💭

Thing 1: What in the world is "Dip"? It's a rubberized coating that allows you to peel the car and change the color later on without having the expensive paint job. Google 'dip your car' and you'll see everything you need to know about it.

Thing 2: Why dip the car? I've always been a fan. I like to switch colors up and I've gotten confident with the product enough to really enjoy having it on a vehicle (especially for rust prevention).

Now that we've cleared that up, onto some details 🔎

👉 The car has just over 78,000 miles which are 99% highway. It's been across the country 8 times - usually trips from MN to AZ, UT, or CO (wife and I are big fans of the west).

👉 It's an AZ original car and has been through 2 MN winters. One of those winters, the car was in the garage.

👉 Single owner car. Bought it with 5 miles on it! (They grow up so fast..)

👉 It's a 6-speed with OEM Short Shifter! The combo makes this car a blast to drive.

👉 It has an Injen SP Cold Air Intake System and makes a fabulous turbo dump wooooooshhhh 🐌

👉 BRAND NEW TIRES: Less than 10 miles on them. Go nuts!

👉 It's been completely detailed (engine bay included). Yes, it was a ton of work. You're welcome.

👉 Yellow fog lights, darkened tail lights.

👉 Awesome in the winter! Although I totally recommend winter tires - way more fun.

👉 I have loads of detailing stuff to send with you for the maintenance of the dip (super easy).

👉 This is the Rally Edition 1/1200. If you're looking for a rare car to boast to your friends, this is the one.

Okay, great. Now that we've gone through the 'why this car is awesome' schpeel, let me address one of your current questions: "What makes the Rally Edition so special?" Here's a list:

✅ 1/1200 made in 2016
✅ Comes with 6-speed + short shifter
✅ Retuned suspension (sway bars, etc) for handling
✅ Stiffer steering response
✅ Custom Interior

Nice, we're almost through here. If you're sick of reading so far, you're probably not alone, no there's no support group, and you did this, not me.

Onto your next question: "Well, if it's SO great, why are you selling it?" 💁‍♀️

I've had this car since it was 5 miles old. It's been so reliable, so fun to drive, and I've had some great memories it in. But, it's time I make those memories in an Audi (you'll come to learn I'm a big VW/Audi guy).

And naturally, you're wondering: "What's wrong with it. There's always someeetthingggg" 🧐. Fair point. I'll share those somethings with you:

❌ The dip is about a year old and it's incredible in color. But, in some edges around the car, it is lifting. This isn't a big deal because the fix is easy (for a dip professional) and very inexpensive.
❌ Hyundai's are notorious for steering wheel wear. There is a bit of wear on the steering wheel. You can't feel any of it, there's just light discoloration.
❌ Wheels have light road rash and are in need of new center wheel caps.
❌ Seats have light cracking (nothing some leather condition can't solve).
❌ The emergency brake button has replacement vinyl over it - AZ heat baked off original vinyl. Super inexpensive to replace if you wanted to. I don't find it to be a problem, however.

Awesome! Now expectations are set.

✔️ Not necessarily. If you're serious and want to make a deal, you're a more attractive buyer if you show up with the intent to buy it. But absolutely no tire kicking.

❓ Is there a lien on the car?
✔️ Yes. We'll arrange a bill of sale that legally makes the car yours. The title will then be sent to you from Hydunai once I release the loan.

❓ Are you motivated to sell?
✔️ Yes. But, I know what the car is worth and if you show up with a ridiculous offer, a ridiculous response is guaranteed.

❓ Are you a dealer?
✔️ Nope. Just a guy who thinks he's funnier than he is.

❓ Are you open to trades?
✔️ Yes. If you own a C6 Manual Corvette, let's make a deal.

❓ When are you available for showing?
✔️ Generally, M-F after 6pm or on the weekends. I can check my schedule and fit you in during the weekdays if it's a must - just let me know.
