Vehicle Description
Because the truck has spent most of its life in southern California, there is very little rust on this truck, it’s all surface rust. Underside is really clean. And it drives great, the ride is just amazing, especially on the highway. If you’ve never sat in one of these, the big greenhouse and the thin A pillars let you have an experience that no modern suv can replicate. It’s why these trucks are rising in value every day and why they’re considered modern classics.
This truck is not perfect, and that’s why it’s not north of $30k. The remanufactured congleton trucks are going for six figures. This is a driver that has minor cosmetic issues with no structural rust that lets you enjoy the RRC experience at a reasonable cost.
Things that need attention:
Interior/exterior cosmetics if you wanted.
Air con, needs new compressor. I am willing to adjust sale price to cover the expense on this, my mechanic is ready to put in a new compressor. With winter coming up I was waiting for the spring to do this.
Cruise control doesn’t work, haven’t looked into it.
Fuel gauge doesn’t go to the top even with tank full, I have replaced the fuel pump but it did not fix this issue. The gauge does go to empty and low fuel light works.
