Used REDUCED: 1924 Model T Runabout Roadster for sale in Haubstadt, IN

Vehicle Description

Price recently lowered approx. $1,000.00 on the 2 year long ground up restoration of my 1924 Model T Ford Runabout Roadster with "0" miles . The previous owner spent 8 years completing 90% of the frame / body work, installed all new wood and rebuilding the front and rear axle assembly's.
I spent hundred's of labor hours and drove hundred's of miles purchasing parts in surrounding states and have receipts for a total of $25,878.00 that I spent for parts and professional labor / materials. Some of my receipts are hand written for NEW, NOS parts that I accumulated over the past 60 years. The prices on those receipts are 2019 Snyders catalog prices. I can provide all my receipts and build pictures to the new owner if requested. I have NOT included ANY cost for my labor or travel expenses in my price.
The following is a list of some of the work that has been done. Most of the new parts that I used were purchased from Snyder's Antique Auto Parts and the others came directly from the manufactures or professional shops that performed work on the car.
Engine / Transmission:
The engine and transmission are from a 1925 ( Eng. # 12081002 ) that I delivered to Putnam Model T Service in Bluffton, Ohio for a complete Magnaflux inspection and total rebuild including ( See Pic's ) :
All new babbit, cylinder's bored .020 over, new aluminum pistons, weight matched rods, SS valves w/adjustable push rods, new guides and hardened seats, EE crankshaft that was machined / polished / aligned, head and block milled, new ball cap, flywheel ring gear, completely rebuilt magneto, Kevlar bands and anything else that was needed for the transmission rebuild. I also installed a professionally rebuilt carburetor, a Ron Patterson rebuilt starter with all new internal parts and drive, new 6 volt alternator / battery, all new wiring , battery cables, plug wires, Anderson style timer , restored coil box with plastic material kit, Lang's rebuilt coil's new ignition switch assembly, new Berg OEM style flat tube, high radiator, NOS aftermarket radiator shell with "script" Ford and made in USA that I had chrome plated along with the steering gear housing, New "dog bone" radiator cap and Motometer, 5 good used 1926-27' OEM wire wheels that were sandblasted and powder coated 2 times with "Super Chrome" and 2 coats of Super Chrome clear coat, a 1927 sedan spare tire holder, new 1919-23 tail lights and brackets, new Stainless Steel polished lug nuts/ gas and timing rods, 5 new tires, tubes, rim guards, chrome hub caps, 5:1 steering assembly, new NOS Timken front wheel inner / outer bearings / races, oil seals, new safety glass, top bows rebuilt with new wood. New Rootlieb rear fenders / gas tank / sediment bowl, exhaust manifold and complete exhaust system.
Body:
Painted with PPG Delfleet Essential single stage polyuretane by a professional painter with 35 yr's. experience. Bottom side of fenders, running boards, splash aprons, inside of trunk and a new 3/4" thick marine grade plywood trunk floor have been spray painted with "Raptor" black bed liner to protect underside from rock chips. New seat belt's, seat back / bottom springs and interior were covered with Classtique Upholstery and Convertible Top installed by Coverall Upholstery Shop in Martinsville In.

I would be glad to share any of my restoration information with you if you are a serious cash buyer. I built this car to be a very high quality driver that would be mechanically as trouble free as possible and did not skimp on anything that was needed. The car is exactly as you see it in these ad pictures and has been covered and stored on padded jack stands in a climate controlled room since completion . I have kept the cylinders oiled and hand crank the engine / drive train 10 revolutions each week.

I really don't need another car and prefer to sell outright. I have lowered my asking price about $1,000.00 to $24,900.00.00 cash. If necessary I would consider an original 55'-56'- 57' Chevrolet sedan of equal or better condition and value in trade . I would prefer to trade with a private party who has owned their car for some time and knows the history. I do not intend to pay more money than what I have invested in my car and prefer not to trade with a dealer or require their help selling my car.

If your interested and a serious cash buyer please call the phone number given in the " Reply box " area of this ad for more information .
Perfect car for displaying and driving.

Thank you for looking.
