-no DEF fluid to deal with. This truck was manufactured before the 08 emissions BS
-Not modified or chipped<---
-ADULT owned and not abused
-Maintained on time or early
-only 112k miles. This model should go 500k no problem
-6 speed fully selectable Allison transmission<---------------------------
-2wd version which has a higher towing capacity<----
-This truck moved a 5th wheel once a month for about 2 years
it has otherwise it's just been sitting pretty.
-Diesel stabilizer used at EVERY fill up. You will be provided a bottle.
-Rotella (the proper oil) always used
-14K 5th wheel slidable craig? hitch is included with this sale. 2-3yrs old
-39 gallon ALUMINUM lighter auxiliary tank with IN cab electric switch to control the tank
-good brake controller
-dvd player w wireless headphones, you can use wired. comes with 2 wireless but
rougher condition. REMOTE control included
-new AVS wind guards
-new Extending trailering mirrors, w turn arrow LEDs built into mirror. Power mirrors
-tires are about 3 years old but not many miles. Used wheel covers so less sun damage. see pictures
-interior is pretty clean but the driver seat is not. BEFORE my time.
-about every other month I polished the paint with HIGH quality hybrid wax to condition the paint
That being said the truck is not new, there are imperfections.
-Hasn't been a daily driver. Not by me or the previous owner. I purchased this exact lbz 6.6 because
the old owner treated it VERY well.
-I don't mind going to the DMV with the new owner to make sure everything transfers over fine. >LOCAL<
CONS:
-Clean but plated title. This was new to me. PLATED title means Chevy sold this truck new and then
purchased the truck back from original owner. Fixed something? Then Chevy resold the truck.
-One and a half years ago a branch fell on the roof of the truck. Its a smaller dent and the paint wasn't affected
a picture has been included.
-6 months ago a semi truck backed into our passenger door while parked. Everything was fixed and
color matched by insurance. You'd never know unless told. It was just a door, handle, mirror, glass.
Bolt on repairs and paint.
-Driver side rear window doesn't go up all the way so i stopped messing w it. I'll probably end up fixing this
to avoid the low ballers. It's an easy fix.
-It's oil changing time! actually rotella should be fine up to 8k as diesels are different. I've never waited that long.
-Purchased in OHIO and we left the plates OH because it saved us $$$. That being said there will be no issue
in CA as this truck was manufactured before all the emissions BS in 2008. Which is a huuuuge plus.
-There is minor surface rust under but not anywhere else. There is no rust in paint areas.
*I chose this truck after hunting for MONTHS. I made sure it would have no problems period.
