Used Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4-$10,000 OBO w/ CARFAX for sale in Mount Shasta, OR
Vehicle Description
It has a K&N Air Filter (I will provide the cleaning kit with the purchase), has had an oil change every 3-5 thousand miles, THERE ARE NO LEAKS, it’s radiator fluid was flushed in the past six months and had a tuneup in the last two months. The body has a few dings and some light fading paint on the hood but there is no delamination. I just had the interior detailed and shampooed when the owner @TRautodetailing said, “The inside is in great condition, there are no rips or stains on the material and the leather is in great shape…”
I replaced:
The timing belt and fuel pump at 135,000. Tons of life in those.
The O2 sensor and the front and rear shocks in 2013.
All of the fluids and rear differential in 2014.
I added:
A grille guard.
Tow package.
Issues with the vehicle:
One of the license plate light casings is broken and has duct tape as a cover. You can fix it yourself for $17.50.
It has a Siskiyou County tailgate which means it’s got some scratches and there is a crack in the top of the gate. I bought it that way and made a few scratches of my own. Photo included.
The windshield wiper fluid reservoir needs to be replaced. It was cracked and not working when I bought it, I repaired it with some duct tape, but has deteriorated since and is no longer working. You can fix it yourself for $60.
Rear tires have a year left in them...The front have several years left and are in great shape. If you want to drive in the snow? You should have the rear tires replaced before you take the rig into the hills. Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T ($145 on amazon or $118 a piece at Wallyworld). Great all around tire but are not as trustworthy in the snow when they are worn.
The camper shell is made for a Tacoma up to 1999. It does not seal well with the cab of the 2004 model and I only bought it because it had white water kayak racks and would save me $40 a year in registration fees in CA. It does not lock and is not leak proof.
The reason I’m selling this baby is that my family of three and I just purchased a travel trailer and we need a larger rig to haul the trailer, kids, dog and recreational equipment more comfortably. I wanted to give this truck to my daughter, who is six, and had no doubts that she would have driven it 10 years from now because of the way I have taken care of it. This vehicle was made to take you wherever you want to go (including cross country) in any condition and if you ever get stuck? Push the rear differential lock and you’re out in a moment's time (I only had to do that twice and once this previous spring). Text me for a test drive.
