Looking for a BMW Z3, Z4, or series 1 or a 1984 VW GTI. A good running solid VW Caddy (truck) considered. MANUAL TRANS ONLY. If yours is salvaged we can talk. Must be reliable and has to pass smog. I work an hour from home and I also have a 5 year old to get around. Please please be honest. I will be bringing a code reader to check your car. Pic of it in the photos. I would ask $4500 or best for mine. I can add some cash or more trade on top. I am a professional tattooer of 12 years and in a reputable shop.
Here is every honest detail
Goods
4.0 inline, automatic. New starter, new crank position sensor, fresh oil change (Valvoline 10/30 high mile synthetic change every 6k), 230k miles, power locks, windows and seats, fresh tranny fluid from 3 oil changes ago. new oil pressure sensor, new front hubs, new adjustible Core 4x4 track bar and mount, new rear main seal,(didn't need it. Long story) new adjustible front upper control arms, new battery. Has Rough Country 4" lift a Dana 30 up front. Dana 44 in the rear from a V8 model ZJ, coils and disc in all corners. 33" tires have about 1/2 or better tread. Cd player, bluetooth, cb radio and phone app controlled light bar. The green screen even works and they never do. Passes smog beautifully. Tagged. Very reliable and was just detailed. Has tan bedliner paint. I have driven it from Colfax to Roseville 5 days a week for the last 2 years.
The bads
Ac works but needs a charge
Power locks work but kind of weak. Locks need to be lubed. I have a bag of new door panel mount buttons so if you were to do it you'll have some new ones
Door light comes on.
Rear defroster works but not on that window. The element in the window itself is bad.
Rear wiper motor doesn't work
Headliner console outside temp/compass screen doesn't work. There is power to it but the screen is not working.
