Used U-Haul 17' Box Truck + Ramp (1997) - cars & trucks - by owner -... for sale in Vista, CA
Vehicle Description
It was registered as commercial but you can register it as personal if you will not use it as a business vehicle that makes tax cheaper. As it has been non-operational it is not taxed or smogged and is being sold as-is, where-is hence the crazy price.
It comes with the 10' aluminum ramp (and they cost $750 each as so much aluminum in them) but the ramp is in the box and not under so it does not slide out as is normal. This because the gas tank was raised when a new fuel pump was installed and it did not leave enough room for the ramp to stow in its normal place.
It fires up first time and no lights on. Runs great. When I bought it it has no reverse gear so I made sure not to park closely behind anything. Otherwise really in great shape. It just had a new fuel pump and a transmission service and it changes great just no reverse gear. Bothe sets of keys!
Just to hire this truck from U-Haul for a trip is about $1500! So this is a great price but feel free to bring cash and make offers.
