This is the ultimate outdoors vehicle (or at least the best you'll get anywhere near this price range). Honda designed this car to be perfect for people who camp, get dirty outdoors, or often find themselves driving on rough terrain. As you can see in the photos the seats fold flat to make a bed where you can gaze at the stars through the backseat moonroof! Additionally the seats are super easily configurable into many different arrangements giving this car unexpectedly voluminous hauling room (seriously, I've moved myself with this car alone multiple times). The AWD (what Honda was branding as Real Time 4WD) is the best performing I've ever seen. I lived in Michigan most of my life where we have very snowy winters and additionally have driven through plenty of mud, and not once, not a single time, gotten stuck or lost traction. The car has a roof rack and attachments for a variety of racks. The rubber flooring throughout makes cleaning up after a muddy trek a breeze.
Though the car is 16 years old, it only has 139,600 mi, reflecting that I've mostly lived in places where I didn't drive for a commute and that the car was mainly used for road trips. Additionally, as an engineer with more than a little OCD, I've taken very good care of this car over the years and you can clearly see that in the pictures, and will tell when driving. The car has never had any serious damage and never been in an accident more serious than a fender bender or a dinged door. Honda only produced this amazing and unique car from 2003-2011, and I fully expect this car to only appreciate in value as ones in such good condition become rarer and rarer.
