1962 Lincoln Continental hardtop with optional A/C
Clean example of a 57 year old suicide door classic! Ready to paint and drive, this classic has the 430 MEL (Mercury, Edsel, Lincoln) motor also known as the bullet proof bulldozer with a 2 barrel carburetor. This motor is rated at 300HP and 465lb-ft of torque.
Work accomplished on this luxury classic so far:
Interior
-Complete interior upholstery, dash, seats & armrests with marine grade vinyl
-New headliner with marine grade vinyl
-New carpet
-Refinished wood accents throughout
-Professional rebuild of climate controls
-LED bulb replacement in dash
Engine
-Top end rebuild with new valves & rings (setup for unleaded fuel)
-New timing gear and chain
-New oil pump and upgraded heavy duty oil pump drive shaft
-Professionally rebuilt original 2-barrel carburetor
