Used 1971 FJ40 Land Cruiser for sale in San Diego, CA
Vehicle Description
This car just got some engine tuning and work done. Took the head off and checked for cracks, replaced the head gasket, checked the pistons and the o-rings/compression, replaced the valves (so we can now use regular unleaded fuel without adding lead additive), replaced all the engine/radiator hoses, and cleaned out the fuel lines/system. The car has expected rust and wear and tear one would expect with a car this old and all original. Furthermore, this is a fantastic starting point for anyone trying to restore something like this. It won't need very much!
If you're still reading this, then you must be pretty interested in finding out more about this vehicle. I am always working on some little project with it in an effort to ensure it continues to run. Currently, the carburetor is being cleaned/rebuilt and, once that is done, it'll be running as good as I have ever seen it!
