Used 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 for sale in Minturn, CO

Now comes the time for you to own The Legend, The Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, in the Iconic Mustard Yellow. This December 1976 (Model Year 1977) has been mechanically rebuilt and resealed professionally by Classic Cruisers here in Colorado. It has a Clean Colorado Title. It drives like it just came off the line. The only thing that hasn’t been rebuilt is the original 2F engine, because at 70k miles, its just not time for that yet. This truck is strong and great to drive. Get ready for everyone to want to talk to you about it, and take pictures with it. These trucks are serious eye-catchers.
It maxes out at about 65-70mph, but it was never meant to go fast. It is very smooth at that speed though. It shifts into 4Wheel easily and the locking hubs spin like butter into their locked and free positions. Also has ARB Front and Rear Air Lockers and Compressor (needs a tank if you want to inflate and deflate tires), as well as a Warn 9500lb Wench.
The only thing it would take to turn this into a show vehicle is body work, all the really hard work is done. The frame is super solid. Its got amazing bones. I personally love the patina, and there is a bit of red color underneath in the pictures, but thats because I actually take this truck on dirt, and use it like it is supposed to be. This truck has been in my possession fro the last 2.5 years, and has been my daily driver for the last 9 months. I've put just over 9000 miles on it since I've had it. The only reason I’m selling it is that I need to put money into my business. Asking $22,500 OBO. Cash is king, and monitored tests drives only.

Secondary Oil Pressure Gauge, original sending unit went bad.
OEM 15” Steel White Wagon Wheels with Brand New BF Goodwrich KO2’s and Full Size Spare with High Lift Jack. Maybe 2000 miles have been driven on these tires.
