Great car, solid BMW engine with than 100K (these go loooong)
New tires and rims $1300 (less than 400 miles on them)
New stereo
Clean title
Automatic transmission
Garage kept, includes winter cover.
Néw top (though had some tape to keep top part of plastic window)
Rear bumper is cracked but covered in tape see pics. Super easy to replace - I actually bought one but it was the wrong model.
Clock circuit needs replacing (simple fix)
Towels always on seats in summer because black leather, leather in great condition.
The airbag light is a known issue and has been on since I bought the car (DMV doesn’t care as they know).
Bottom line this is a great summer ride. I bought it with 93-94k on it about 5 years ago and have used it every summer. My friend Bill would love to snatch if he already didn’t have 4 cars. He’s a mechanic and fixed the only thing that happened (stuck throttle) last year. That’s now tip top. This baby drives great, solid engine with synthetic oil change. It’s over 20 years old, and a car to have fun in that looks sweet one the road and is a blast to tool around in.
So, if you want it, it’s $4500. It’s a great deal with a discount factor for the updates you might want to make mentioned above. If the person that knows cars sees this expect it’s a done deal. Please no bargaining, as this will sell for $6K+ easily this summer (I bought it for $6500 and put $3000 with stereo, tires, top, detailing). And I only put a 5K or so miles on it. Frankly, I need a pickup and just don’t want it in the garage and having to insure it.
