Vehicle Description
The 1914 Brass Era Model T Touring Car is in 99.9% original condition. I believe the canvas top was changed out many years ago. However, the original top structure remains. The rest of the vehicle is in excellent original condition. The interesting thing about this Model T is that it was one of the last to be manufactured in 1914. The 1915 Model T introduced the Duck Bill fenders. However, due to the assembly line already gearing up for the 1915 Model, this T was outfitted with the Duck Bill fenders. As a result, this is a unique Model T. This was supported by a letter from Ford Motor Company dated back in the 1930’s at the request of the family of the original owner. I have the letter and it will be provided to the buyer of the car to memorialize the uniqueness of the vehicle. I purchased he car to restore. However, my interests have changed and wish to pass it on to someone who has that interest. Again, it has not been restored at all and is not a barn find. It is housed in my garage and apparently, due to its condition , has been stored indoors for over 100 years! I drove it into my garage, but I have not had it running for nearly two years.
