Used Toyota MR2 Turbo for sale in Peoria, IL
Vehicle Description
This particular car started life as an NA model in California where it received a JDM Gen III turbo swap with the full front and rear clip. Stock Turbo Bilstein shocks are present as well as the Turbo big brakes. The only way you would know this did not start out a Turbo model is the volt meter in the gauge cluster instead of the boost gauge.
The car is fairly custom at this point. Full roll cage, WITHOUT, a hacked up interior, race seats and a 5 point harness.
Since I bought the car 3 years ago. I’ve updated the paint, added a Border front bumper, Greddy side skirts and new wheels and tires cosmetically.
Mechanically the car has a new battery, fuel pump, timing belt and water pump along with all the rest of the engine seals. There’s not a leak anywhere! Last year an upgraded intercooler and fan was installed as well as an AES wideband gauge and boost controller. This car just flat out runs!!!
There are no surprises here! Every button and switch in the car work. The car starts right up and can be driven anywhere. I bought the car in North Carolina and drove it 12 hours home...not a single hiccup!
