Used 1972 Jaguar E-Type for sale in Sonoma, CA
Vehicle Description
1972 Jaguar XKE E-Type V12 Fixed Head Coupe
Restored, 4-Speed, Air Conditioning
Very attractive, nicely restored 1972 Jaguar XKE for sale. This lovely 2+2 FHC E-Type was built February 29th, 1972, and delivered from the factory finished in Old English White with a Russet Red interior, air conditioning, and a 4-speed manual transmission. It includes the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, 58 pages of recent service history totaling nearly $57,000 between 2010 and 2021, owner's manual, two sets of keys, spares, cover, jack & tools. This is a well-executed, quality restoration estimated to have been done somewhere in the early 2000s.
The V12 engine fires up and runs beautifully with plenty of power and a healthy sound. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts beautifully through the gears, and the suspension and braking feel excellent.
The exterior shows well. The Old English white paint has a deep shine, and the body is smooth and clean with excellent fitment, beautiful chrome, trim, and glass. It rides on a beautiful set of chrome spoke wheels wrapped in 215/70 R15's. Overall it has an attractive appearance.
Inside, the Russett Red leather interior is in very nice shape, along with its Wilton wool rugs and headliner. The door panels, cards, and trim show beautifully, and the dash, gauges and switches, and leather-wrapped factory steering wheel all look great. The Air conditioning has been converted to R134a and blows ice-cold. The rear window defogger switch has been repurposed to control the auxiliary electric fan for hotter days when extra cooling is needed. The original radio has been replaced with a Retro-Sound system and a retractable antenna. This e-Type interior is very comfortable for long drives.
This is an excellent classic Jaguar e-Type. Records available upon request. Contact Donn with questions, shipping, and financing options. 707-332-8331.
